Whether the lady in your life is an expectant mother-to-be or a seasoned mama with plenty of parenting experience, they have one thing in common: they give of themselves to others.
It could be driving children all over town to appointments or practices, it could be preparing meals and snacks for little tummies all week long, it could be spot-treating and washing endless loads of laundry…whatever your mom does for you, it comes at the expense of time they used to have for other activities.
Parents often have little time to spend on themselves. This, of course, includes moms.
...it's fairly safe to say they wouldn't trade it for anything because, all things considered, being a parent is a pretty spectacular thing.
Yet, if you were to ask those mothers if they would go back to how things used to be before they earned their title of Mom, it's fairly safe to say they wouldn't trade it for anything because, all things considered, being a parent is a pretty spectacular thing.
They know that one day, they will have time again, and that when that day comes, their children will have grown up.
While the things moms do are appreciated by their children on a general, "I love you, thanks for taking care of me," kind of level, it's likely not until they're fully grown and having children of their own that they fully understand just how much their parents gave to them—of their time, of their effort, of absolutely everything they are.
If you're sitting there and calculating how far away Mother's Day is and feeling like you want to give back to the mother figure in your life, I present to you these gift ideas that any mom would love.
Top 15 gift ideas for the mom in your life
Sometimes, it's hard to know where to even begin when brainstorming gift ideas. This list is made up of items that I either have myself or have given to other moms I know, and they've all been well-received.
For the Mom Who Loves Coffee
1. Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System
This coffee maker will change your life. And when you have twins, you may want all the coffee you can get your hands on.
You can make your coffee by the pot or by the pod, you can pour a cup in the middle of the pot being made without spilling a drop, you can place the water reservoir on the side or back of the unit, depending on your counter configuration, AND it has a built-in milk frother that is neatly tucked away out of sight but is easily accessible when you want to make the frothiest froth that ever frothed.
And if you're limiting yourself to one cup of coffee while breastfeeding or expressing milk, you are going to want that coffee to be chef's kiss.
Seriously, look at this froth. It's so beautiful. That angelic mountain, alone, made me so happy the Ninja DualBrew Pro came into our lives.
Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System
This is the Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System. It's, by far, the best coffee machine I've ever owned, and all of our friends bought this unit after we told them how amazing it was.
2. Vobaga Coffee Mug Warmer
Say, "See ya later," to microwaving your single cup of coffee 27 times in one day for the slight chance of enjoying a sip of hot coffee.
This electric mug warmer has four different heat modes to keep your java pipin', so you can grab it, no matter how many times you've been distracted by your twins, and know that your next sip is going to be nice and toasty instead of disappointingly frigid...as long as it hasn't been longer than four hours, at which point, it turns itself off automatically.

3. A Pretty Mug to Drink Out Of
There's just something extra invigorating about drinking your coffee or tea out of a fancy, gilded mug that's just for you.
While this mug can't go into the microwave because of its gold-plated handle, that won't be a problem if you use your Vobaga coffee mug warmer.
Rifle Paper Co. Super Mom Mug
This Super Mom mug will make you feel like you're ready to face the day, no matter what it brings. And as a mom of twins, you've definitely earned your cape.
4. Mom Life Tumbler
Take your coffee to go or fill 'er up with water to quench your thirst and help you stay hydrated all day long.
The stainless steel tumbler has double-wall insulation, so it will keep your drink hot for three hours or cold for up to nine hours while you're on the go.
It can hold up to 20 ounces of liquid, so you won't need to worry about running on empty before you get back home.
Mom Life Tumbler
This fun Mom Life tumbler will let you show your Mama Stripes and will also keep you caffeinated or hydrated, no matter where you're headed.
For the Mom Who Only Has a Couple Minutes to Get Things Done
5. Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900 Powered Toothbrush with SenseIQ
When you only have a few minutes to get ready quickly in the morning, this toothbrush will make you feel like you actually had time to leisurely brush your teeth instead of frantically racing to get rid of your prickly morning breath before whispering sweet nothings into your babies' faces.
I'm a frugal person, so I was pretty leery about how much I'd actually appreciate having a powered toothbrush, but now that I've had it for almost a year, I truly get excited about the level of self-care I can achieve so simply in just a couple of minutes. Absolutely no regrets on this investment.
Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900 Powered Toothbrush with SenseIQ
This is the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900 Powered Toothbrush. It's equipped with SenseIQ, which alerts you if you're brushing too hard or moving the brush in a non-optimal way. The app also shows you if you've missed any spots.
6. Smashbox Becca Full Coverage Under Eye Brightening Cream Corrector
As someone who doesn't often splurge on big things for myself, I really didn't want to spend a ton on a concealer that I didn't know would actually work or be a good match for my skin tone.
I sent it to my husband as a birthday gift idea, and I'm glad he got it for me because I never would have bought it for myself and, therefore, never would have found out how amazing it is.
I can be make-up ready in five minutes or less. Doing my brows, lashes, and under eye circles in no time flat is a huge win when I feel like I hardly have any down time...or if I do, I want to spend that time relaxing, not primping.
I am incredibly impressed by this corrector. It virtually erased the purple under-eye circles I've had since I was a kid.
I was worried about color-matching a new product I'd never tried and was buying online, but I matched my tone by watching a couple of reviews on YouTube and comparing their skin tone to mine, and it worked. I can use the concealer just under my eyes and don't need to use any other foundation.

This is the Becca Full Coverage Under Eye Brightening Cream Corrector by Smashbox. It's pretty stellar. I'll wear it without any other foundation and just blend it with a brush for seamless coverage.
7. Angry Mama Microwave Steam Cleaner
This brings me an odd amount of joy, and I love it. Maybe it's because I don't like cleaning the microwave. Maybe it's because it's so fast and easy to use. Maybe it's because I can just envision the steam coming out of her ears while she's in the microwave, and it makes me laugh.
Whatever the reason is, I'm glad I got this for myself because it makes it possible to clean a grimy microwave in, like, 20 seconds.
Just add vinegar to the fill line, top it up with water, and then pop it in the microwave on High for seven minutes. Walk away, so you can be productive while the microwave is counting down, and then come back when you hear the beep, give the inside of the microwave a quick wipe-down, and you're done.

For the Mom Who Likes To Accessorize
8. An Infinity Heart Necklace
When my twins were younger, I didn't often get to wear necklaces because they were too enticing and became grab-things, but I made an exception for this sweet, dainty necklace I got from my twins for my first Mother's Day.
The interlocking infinity heart symbolizes the endless love you share, and the delicate rose adorning the top of the necklace represents your unfading, eternal bond.
Louisa Secret Infinity Heart Rose Necklace
This sterling silver necklace features an infinity heart design topped with a beautiful rose and sparkling cubic zirconia gems.
9. A Customized Birthstone Bracelet
Wear your heart on your sleeve—or just over your sleeve—with a customized birthstone bracelet that shines just as brightly as your love for your children.
The dainty, rhodium-plated-silver chain is timeless and will complement any outfit. The cubic zirconia stones can be personalized to any birth month, and the lobster claw-style clasp will ensure your newest accessory isn't going anywhere, except with you.
Eve's Addiction
This rhodium-plated-silver bracelet can be personalized with two round cubic zirconia birthstones of your choosing.
For the Mom Who's Dealing with Tricky Postpartum Hair & Skin
10. Weleda Rosemary Condition & Shine Hair Oil
I'd heard stories about women who had incredible glow-ups with their hair-dos in their postpartum period.
I'd also heard stories about women who had incredible throw-ups with their hair-dos.
I'd hoped so badly for the glow-up, especially since I was rockin' some amazing tresses right after the twins were born. But, alas, those days of amazing hair have passed, and I've been left stranded (pun intended) in a weird, postpartum limbo, where my hair hasn't gone back to the way it used to be (read: the way I knew how to style it without having to wave a white flag and throw it into yet another bun, causing even further breakage).
I have high hopes for this oil, which is supposed to moisturize and encourage healthy hair growth, but it'll take time to see results. I like that it can be used either before or after you shower, so there's less planning involved in the hair care ritual, which takes more time than I'd like.
The rosemary oil, clover, and burdock root extracts work together to give you a deep conditioning treatment to make your hair more manageable.
Weleda Rosemary Condition & Shine Hair Oil
This is Weleda's Rosemary Condition and Shine Hair Oil. It's formulated to nourish dry hair and split ends.
11. Tangle Teezer Scalp Exfoliator & Massager
This silicone exfoliator and scalp massager features flexible teeth that help clear build-up and promote hair growth.
You can use it on wet or dry hair just on its own, or you can brush oil through your hair to nourish and moisturize your scalp at the same time. Alternatively, you can use this brush while you're washing your hair, for an extra deep clean and some added TLC.

12. Real Nature Shea Butter Face Mask Sheet
These face masks are a quick and easy way to feel rejuvenated after a long day–or week! Let's be serious, it all blends together after a while, doesn't it?
The Shea Butter Face Mask is delightful, but there are so many different masks available. My husband bought over a dozen different ones, so that I could indulge in some serious self-care after the twins were born.
On any given day, I'd kick back in a super comfy Zen Zone, away from the twins, and explore the different benefits of the sheets as I worked my way through my stash in our own little spa right at home.

This is the Real Nature Shea Butter Face Mask Sheet by the Face Shop. It nourishes the skin for a firming effect. They offer over a dozen other enticing scent options!
For the Mom Who Loves Comfort
13. The Most Comfortable Floral Lounge Pajama Pants
These are, without a doubt, my favorite pajama pants, whether I'm pregnant or not. I bought them when I found out I was expecting twins because they looked cozy and roomy.
They fit me in the early weeks, before I started really showing, and they stretched right alongside my belly and were worn, no problem, all the way until I delivered my twins. They kept up their magic all throughout the wonky postpartum period, during which your body is healing and recovering from all it's gone through over the past several months.
These pants are incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and soft, and, if I'm being totally honest, when I'm wearing them (which I am in this exact moment as I write this), it feels like I'm not wearing any pants at all...in the best way possible.
They somehow help you regulate your heat, so you're always the perfect temperature, which is huge, because I am always cold. And they're still in amazing condition, even after years of wearing and washing.

14. Richie House Women's Plush Robe
This robe is one of the things I added to my birthday wish list when I was five months pregnant with my twins. Even now, two years after they were born, I still love this robe and wear it often.
When I got it, I went a size up from what I'd normally buy, to give my ever-growing twin belly some grace and some space, and it was never too small on me.
I went a size up from what I'd normally buy, to give my ever-growing twin belly some grace and some space, and it was never too small on me.
Now that I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight, it still fits well and doesn't seem like I'm swimming in it.
It's just a cozy, plush robe that I can snuggle into when I've got CHILLS that are multiplyin'.
The robe comes with or without a hood. I opted for the shawl-style collar, which works wonders to warm you up quickly, and I love, more than I thought I would, the deep pockets it has. In the early newborn days, the hood kept me warm while I was feeding the babies and the pockets were perfect for holding my phone, lip balm, and the twins' thermometer or soothers.
Nowadays, the pockets are filled with the random "Mom Stuff" I collect throughout the house...extra outlet protector plugs, random wrapping papers from crayons, and the puffs or Cheerios I find on the floor while we're playing.

15. Evshine Women's Cross-Band Fuzzy Slippers
These slippers were my favorite during pregnancy and are still my favorite over two years later. The open-toe design gives your feet a chance to breathe when your postpartum body decides it needs to be a million degrees for a while. And when your temperature regulates back the other way, the fuzzy faux fur material keeps your tooties toasty.
My favorite feature of these slippers, though, is the cross-band set-up. It's very forgiving with postpartum feet. I had no idea your feet could grow bigger during pregnancy and might just stay at their new size forever. I knew that with this design, I wouldn't have to worry about what my feet decided to do during pregnancy (for the record, only about half of my shoes fit now, two years later, boo).
The memory foam insole adds an extra layer of comfort, and the anti-skid rubber sole gave me an additional sense of security for those times I was carrying two newborns around the house simultaneously.
Evshine Women's Cross-Band Fuzzy Slippers
Evshine's Women's Cross-Band Fuzzy Slippers are soft and warm and very forgiving with postpartum feet, thanks to their open-toe design.
