When your babies get teething, the impending pools of drool can be relentless. You may notice your twins suddenly have irritated rashes with raised, red bumps or dry, chapped skin on their cheeks or necks.
The best way to try to avoid these uncomfortable rashes from forming is to keep your little ones' cheeks, chin, and neck area dry.
When they're producing puddles of saliva on the steady, this is easier said than done.
We went through bundles of bibs trying to keep our twins comfortable and dry. We tried a handful of different brands but none felt like they kept up with the constant stream of spit caused by round-the-clock teething.
Finally, we tried KeaBabies Bandana Drool Bibs, and they blew all other bibs out of the water.
Say goodbye to soggy shirts
You can say goodbye to the seepage of drool that soaks right through the bib and down into the chest of your little ones' shirts.
The soggy clothes you've become accustomed to because of that soaking effect will cease to exist because these bibs are impressively absorbent and feature an extra protective layer made of plush fleece on the underside, which is soft against your babies' sensitive skin and acts as a further barrier to prevent your babies' drool from pooling anywhere you don't want it sitting.
Make a statement
Made of organic cotton, these bibs are oh-so-soft and sweetly stylish. While it may be a little while before your little ones' flair for fashion makes a debut, I found it fun to see which color of bib my twins were drawn to each day.
With eight different color options available in the package, you're sure to find a hue that will complement your twins' outfits. I remember being far too excited at the fashion and coordinating possibilities once these bibs came on the scene. It just took their little outfits to the next level.
Adjust the fit
My least favorite thing about bibs is having Velcro-closures that stop adhering after a few trips through the washing machine. I thought it was one set of bibs we had, but then soon discovered it was a phenomenon with **"every single Velcro bib we owned***.
Perhaps this is a situation specific to having multiple babies at once, where you go through double or triple the use of the product during its lifetime, and maybe the Velcro just isn't up to that repetitive use task, but I know we've never had an issue with a snap-closure bib being useless before my twins outgrew them—and that's all that matters to me.
Perhaps this is a situation specific to having multiple babies at once, where you go through double or triple the use of the product during its lifetime...but I know we've never had an issue with a snap-closure bib being useless before our twins outgrew them—and that's all that matters to me.
There's no point in having a bib that keeps falling to the floor because it can't stay in place. And it's frustrating because the rest of the bib is still usable, but you can't use it because it keeps falling off as soon as you re-fasten the ends.
It irritates me to the point that I warn everyone I know to only buy bibs with snap closures because even if the ones with Velcro are cute, you're only going to get a few uses out of them before they just straight-up stop doing their job, which is to stay put where you place it.
You don't have to worry about this problem with these bibs by KeaBabies. With nickel-free adjustable snap closures, you can rest assured these bibs will stay in place as long as your little ones need them.
And with two sets of snaps, you can create a tailored fit for your baby that grows with them through every stage, right up to 36 months (though, our twins stopped needing theirs around 24 months).
Appreciate the durability
While I was impressed with how absorbent and cute these bibs are, I'm even more blown away by how well they hold up to intense and repeated use.
Our set of bibs was washed a LOT over a year of heavy lifting. They were worn daily, and we would often go through three or four a day. Even with this high rotation through the laundry, they're still in incredible condition. They don't shrink or get warped out of shape, unlike other bibs we had put through the ringer for a much shorter period of time before we tried these ones.
You need these bibs in your life
KeaBabies Bandana Drool Bibs are high-quality and made to last for your babies—and the next ones you pass the bibs along to.
When we switched to these bibs, drool rash dissipated and was never an issue again…and there had even been cases prior to these bibs, where we needed a medicated cream to clear up a tough case of teething rash.
These bibs eliminate that problem because rather than having a layer of drool that's sitting on top of the bib's surface, these actually do their job and soak up the liquid, bringing the saliva away from the skin level, so it doesn't irritate the sensitive area on the chin and the neck.
They dry very quickly, so when your twins go down for their nap, you can lay the bibs out and by the time they get up, their bin is ready for round two…unless it's been an excessively drooly day, then I'd opt for fresh ones in the afternoon, which wasn't even an issue since we had eight of them in rotation.
